Why a rubber duck? My first steps with Sketch

Making my first prototype in sketch (even if it was only copying) was really cool and fun. Why is there a rubber duck in my article? You will find out why soon!

Goal of this exercise is to reproduce 2 pages of an app, using all the tools I have learnt in Sketch in the previous lessons.

It was really to rewarding to analyse those 2 pages and try to understand how the designer proceed to archive this result.

When I looked at the background of the login page, it appears to me that the best way to reproduce yellow halos with a little bit of orange, was to use those little yellow ducks!

Even if I don’t have a technical background, I have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and I often use Pixelr to make easy retouching. Furthermore, Sketch is a quite simple software to handle to archive simple results like this one, so I didn’t faced major difficulties to realize it. Nevertheless, here are some problems I faced :
