Happy New Year from the Popfizz CS team!

There were some new and exciting features added to Popfizz CS in January. Let’s take a look at what they are.

In addition to being able to add your students with the Classroom Code, you can import your roster from your Google Classroom.

Go to the Classroom Management section >> Enrollment. Click on the ‘Import from Google Classroom’ button.

By default, ‘Share to Google Classroom’ is set to ON. If you prefer to hide the button from the course task page, toggle the button to OFF state. This will have no effect on Google Classroom enrollment.

Most student projects are auto-graded. However, there are open-ended projects that allow students to be more flexible and creative with their code. In this case, you can use the grader tool and a rubric to provide student feedback. A suggested solution is provided for you so that you can easily comment on the student work.

Grade Students Open-ended projects

Use the forum to start a discussion, post announcements, and share updates.

Go to My Classroom Management >> Settings, then turn ON the Forum feature.
