Acting Out the Myth

Trampling down the lines that stripped concern of effervescence/ storied tale bends down at the waist to show all the scars/but you rode your bed down here/ took time to etch security into your notebook your record for the passed possession/ the trails along the arms/breaches of inner walls staying for yet more coffee

Someone died/ to bring to life this tragedy though remorse doesn’t heap/so well on stage & tears in the curtains are supposed to make you/cry/ because there was a beloved reason this came out on the play’s page/& made up for the foreshadowing that has blacked out the theater/ music threaded through scenes that it didn’t belong

Or where there were//strangers come to spit towards this falsehood that also/ also expressed contemporaneity with its raison d’etre/ So still so still the world could be dead /in dialogue dreams with clashes of the true standing out/coming/without changing the beat though how to cancel the sound/of the audience breathing is/where revelation currently wants to live
